Around 7 am I was awake and had a breakfast and packed my bag. Around 8.10 am I left and drove first to El Tigré, approximately 25 kilometers. I went here for a walk on a path behind the village. It is a road that can be ridden by car, but the silence, only the twittering of birds, was also worth something. First walked the road through a forest, then along meadows with cows and what agriculture. Striking was the deposition with knot trees instead of the normal piles used for a fence. I ended up in a small village where children were playing on a soccer field.
After more than an hour walking, I drove further towards Tona. Here I made a stop at a church and a mausoleum of a local priest. I then drove further along the southern road. The first piece was beautiful asphalted and wasn't even marked on Google maps. Later it was a dirt road, where was worked on improvement. The road ran after a lapse of time also along Ocean, with beautiful views. The last piece to the highway was again asphalted.
After a police control I drove further and made a stop in David to do some shopping and gasoline to refuel. Also the road to Boquete was in maintenance. Halfway through I had to wait for slow traffic, when a car stopped in front of me. The car behind me did not stop in time and rammed on the right rear. The police was called, but that took a long time to come. I called the rental company and also inquired about me further actions. However, it took more than an hour for the police to arrive. Formatting the report also took a long time. While the clash took place at 3.30 pm, I could not continue until around 6 pm.
Once in Boquete fall began and I searched at the darkness an hour for the hotel where I had to stay. It is poorly marked and I also had no route description. I asked a number of people, but they send me to different places. Eventually around 7.30 pm I had found it and I checked in and went directly for dinner, but because it was crowded here, I had to wait an hour. After dinner I went to sleep.
